Our cover story for June issue:
The late Mr Lloyd Tan, founder of the Malaysian Parkinson’s Disease support group, who was misdiagnosed as having Parkinson’s disease (PD). In fact his condition was 10 times more debilitating than PD.
The former scoutmaster, teacher, trainer lived with his disease for 20 years, dedicating 13 of these to helping fellow PD sufferers.

For our photo story inside, we bring you highlights of the recent Beijing Olympic torch relay in Malaysia, with a personal account from one very special torch bearer.

Career skills training workshop for Deaf jobseekers

Challenges with Senet and MBPJ Local Agenda 21,  held a career skills training workshop for Deaf jobseekers recently in Petaling Jaya.

The 29 Deaf participants were guided on resume writing, interview skills and grooming for the workplace.

This is the second time Challenges organised such a session for PWDs jobseekers.
